Volunteer
In the 21st century economy, time is often more valuable than
money. (Do you know someone who's not "busy"?) Yet, it's in
sacrificing our most precious assets that God is honored and we're benefited.
The rewards of serving far outweigh the costs.
A quick skim of the list below will illustrate that it takes a lot of people to
make a lot happen. Consider one, no more than two investment; pray for the
Lord's lead and watch how the principal of your time multiplies with interest.

Welcoming/Hospitality
Parking Lot Attendant (assist those in need, direct visitors)
Greeter (open outside doors for everyone)
Usher (welcome to worship, distribute bulletins, assist as needed)
Coffee & Cake Host (prepare coffee, serve goodies at fellowship time)
Leadership (Church Council)
Elders (worship assistance; spiritual care of congregation.)
Outreach (provide opportunities, training in reaching the lost)
Communicating/Proclaiming the Gospel
Human Care (provide basic needs for those without)
Christian Education (bring God's Word to all)
Trustees (Care of Zion's Property)
Youth Ministry (Volunteers to facilitate youth)
Advance Planning (seek God's will for our future)
